Taupenot-Merme, Gevrey-Chambertin 2017

CT note: Clearly from a more classic vintage, elegant and light but without being dilute. Was also rather silky for a Gevrey rather than being savory and meaty. Some sour cherries began to show with air. Unlike more vaunted bottles last week, this definitely punched above its weight and was my favorite on the night. Drinking well now.

Temperate vintage which emphasizes the mineral terroir with a finely tuned fruit/acid balance. Ready to drink now, but also still good storage potential. Perfect condition/storage. 3 pieces are offered.
