One of the largest single field champagnes on the market from "One of the most interesting houses today ...". These great words come from the leading champagne expert, Richard Juhlin, who further acknowledges with 5 out of 5 stars to Jacquesson (only Krug, Louis Roederer and Jacques Selosse also achieve this rating) and a full 96p to their Vauzelle Terme in the legendary 2008 vintage . Jacquesson is admittedly one of the most interesting producers in Champagne today, but certainly also one of the best.

Especially with their single-field wines, they have established themselves in the absolute top, where the flagship Vauzelle Terme (100% PN) has seriously taken up the fight with the two giants in the blancs des noirs category: Krug Clos d'Ambonnay and Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises . These three champagnes have a number of similarities ranging from the towering quality and accompanying high ratings to the extremely limited quantities that are produced. In fact, only 2652 bottles and 198 magnum bottles of Vauzelle Terme were produced in the 2008 vintage. However, there is a point where the three champagnes differ significantly from each other - on the price. Krug CdA and Bollinger VVF are sold for astronomical amounts compared to Jacquesson's Vauzelle Terme.

Rene Langdahl also writes: “With Vauzelle Terme 2008, my connections between the nasal cavity, the tongue, the limbic system in the brain go into self-oscillation. It is deep and smoky, spiced with cinnamon and sumac, dominated by cherries and hints of wood. My roommate led us to pigeon apples, exactly - the sour aged Christmas apple, where the sweetness builds up over time and the peel is slightly bitter. Sweetness without residual sugar, physical and airy, subterranean and subterranean. Vauzelle Terme is so far my Champagne of the Year… ”

Ratings: Richard Juhlin: 96p - Vinous (Antonio Galloni): 96p - Robert Parker: 96 + p - La Revue du vin de France: 19.5p / 20p

The bottle is in perfect condition and stored under ideal conditions.
