The selection is full of gems grown across areas as Chianti, Montalcino, and Bolgheri. Below, we've picked out some of the opportunities we personally wouldn't mind to jump on ;-)

Brunello di Montalcino

The Brunello selection is packed with beautiful bottles from some of our favorite producers, including Biondi-Santi, Casanova di Neri, Poggio di Sotto, and Cerbaiona! Moreover, offering some exceptional value for money, don't snooze on the great value offers on Conti Constanti, Il Poggione, and Siro Pacenti.

The legend, Soldera

Synonymous with one of Italy's greatest legends! Despite Soldera is made from 100% Sangiovese within the Brunello borders, the wine it’s no longer classified under the famous DOCG, as Gianfranco decided to break away from the consortium. A groundbreaking, bold, and provocative decision following a historical sabotage in the winery.

The themed auction boasts an outstanding selection of this rare wine, including back vintages as well as the new release and large formats.

Supertuscans

Many of Italy's most iconic cult wines like Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Solengo and Masseto, share the term: "Supertuscans". Popularly used for Tuscan wines whose DNA and history differ from the traditional Sangiovese-based ones, and for this reason, also fall outside the usual guidelines and rules of the major Tuscany DOCGs.

What they likewise have in common is their sort of non-native heritage, as the grapes and inspiration to make these wines were originally found outside Italy. Using grapes as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, either singularly or in blends, they are known for high quality that can easily rival many of the great Right and Left Bank Bordeaux wines.

Chianti

It doesn't get much more classically Italian than wines from Chianti—or at least, that’s what one might be tempted to think. The selection certainly includes many of the classic OGs from Chianti's Classico zone, but beyond that, you'll also find wines from the region’s other subzones...
