A collection of Spanish wine history!
"Gran" en fa Valdepeñas is a rare reserva from the company, which 40 years later (like García Carrión) is Spain's largest with annual sales of over 250 million liters, i.a. Pata Negra and countless other brands! But it was at this (otherwise beautiful) vineyard that it all started. Nice condition (low neck).
Vallformosa is one of the first bottled wines from the Domenech family, who have owned Vallformosa since 1860. This reserve is from their own domain - today the production is gigantic, especially cava such as Vallformosa and Gran Baron.
In the 90s, Siglo -in the bag- was perhaps the best-selling Rioja in Denmark. It disappeared several years ago, but is now back - but no longer like Rioja, but like Navarra! 2006 is not rated, but 2005 got 89p / Wine-Searcher. Not rated.
Clos de Argenzon is a rather rare "Single Vineyard" wine from Navarra, made by the large company Olarra.
