Domaine des Lambrays is one of Burgundy's great historical domains and potentially one of the best. It's not really fair to write "potentially" anymore. Domaine des Lambray's talent and ability were rewarded when the domain of Michel Bettane was upgraded to a three-star producer on an equal footing with, for example, Romanée Conti, Leroy, Mortet and Laflaive (theis-vine.dk)
