Código 1530 Rosa Tequila is a graceful marriage of cultures and traditions. This tequila has rested for up to a month in white French oak barrels. The casks have previously contained Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley in California. The casks are not charred before the tequila is poured in, which allows the Cabernet to interact directly with the tequila and deliver its many nuances of flavor, as well as a subtle pink color, without being drowned in notes of oak. Codigo Rosa begins with a light and green character of agave and ends with light, floral notes from the Cabernet. The tequila can be enjoyed neat or in a drink such as Paloma.
