Canon La Gaffeliére 2009

The 2009 vintage has an incomparable balance: an inviting and differentiated palette of fruit, herbal spice from ripe Cabernet Franc, bay leaf and incense in a velvety style, paired with a framework of firm tannins and crushed stone that points to a long development into the future. The wine consists of 55% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. 29 hl./ha have been harvested, which after a long soaking is fermented in parcels for approx. 26 days and aged on the yeast residues in 90% new barriques approx. 18 months The wine is neither clarified nor filtered.

Stored at 10 degrees in a wine fridge.
