ROZES Very old White Port 1968

The wine is trampled from really good grapes, which have been trampled according to the traditional method. It has since been left on oak barrels where it has been allowed to develop into this beauty.


The color is brownish/amber yellow and it has a wonderful scent of dried fruit, caramel and a touch of nuts. Some will also be able to find a hint of vanilla in the duff. In the taste you can recognize the same notes and a natural sweetness. The wine is elegant and intense at the same time, with a really fine aftertaste that is only seen in port wines with very long barrel aging.


You can easily pair this lovely port with some white chocolate or a nice dessert, but we prefer to let Rozès Golden White Colheita 1968 be the main attraction and enjoy it as is.
