9 stk Due Normanni 2016
/ #232099
Then you have the opportunity to enjoy one round of delicious Due Normanni 2016 from the world-famous winemaker Peter Vinding Diers! And the price?
I take and trump them all until sold out as usual and you now have the opportunity to grab this extravagant wine: o) I have these in enormously limited edition and the only reason I can offer such a damn low price is because I have bought a little biks that has gone bankrupt with them. Here you go.
The Nerd:
The man behind this wine is Peter Vinding-Diers, who is one of the world's absolute best winemakers.
The grapes are stalked by hand, and fermented in open vessels (two tons of grapes in each vessel), after which the young wine comes in barrels - bought by Peter's nephew, Peter Sisseck (also called Ping) from his Pingus vineyard in Spain.
At the Pingus vineyard, they had been used once, and were thus ideal for storing the grapes for this wine, which will not be able to tolerate too much new wood. The malolactic fermentation takes place in the barrels and after ten months of storage, the wine is ready for bottling. Only 15 barrels of this Due Normanni have been produced.
Like a dark ruby, it lies in the glass; a scent of dark and red fruits strikes one, and the fruit continues in the mouth, where it mixes with a smoky tone from the dish. The aftertaste continues to dominate and invites to vegetables, meat and fish as they are cooked around the Mediterranean.
This delicious wine will last for many years.
