Ferragu is one of the absolute best Amarones out there and every Amarone fan must experience this Amarone at least once in their life. Unbelievably dense, rich, intense and complex. If you ask me, it's at least as good as Dal Forno, but this Ferragu costs less than half!


Every Amarone fan should try this wine at least once!

The wine is produced from Corvina, Corvinone, Croatina, Oseleta, Rondinella, from one hectare of vineyards in Callore. The vines here are 20 years old. All grapes are hand-harvested in October and then transported to the nearby winery in small boxes. Here, the grapes first dry for approx. 70 days, before they are crushed, de-stemmed and fermented in a temperature-controlled steel tank. The wine then ages in French and American oak casks for 48 months and then min. 12 months in the bottle before release. Very limited production of only approx. 700 boxes annually. Exorbitant, but well integrated, 17.5% alcohol.
