JF Mugnier, Clos de la Marechale 2005

CT note: Grand Cru worthy Burgundy indeed! Nose of strawberries, cherries, raspberries, freshly tilled earth, rosemary and allspice with a subtle hint of flowers. Palate is medium to nearly full body, tightly concentrated with delicious fruit and secondary characteristics and powerful pixelated tannins finish long. Just excellent 94 pts, can age for at least 10 more years.

The value purchase in Mugnier's sublime portfolio. 1er cru with age and tertiary notes added Mugnier's magic touch. Perfect A condition. Stored in Liebherr wine fridge since I bought a 12-pc case on release.
