How to Update Your IBAN Account

In this guide, we will walk you through the process of updating the account where you receive your ShareWine payments.

If you change your bank or account number, it is important to update your bank details on ShareWine so that the payments you receive as a seller are transferred to the correct account. You will need your IBAN number for this. IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number and is the international way of writing an account number. You can find your IBAN number in your online banking or by contacting your bank.

Your account details need to be updated with our payment provider, Stripe. Just follow these steps:

STEP 1: Go to Profile > My Information > Payments and click the "Go to Stripe Dashboard" button.

STEP 2: In your Stripe Dashboard click on Profile and scroll down to Payment Details then click EDIT next to your bank info. As a security measure, Stripe will ask you to verify your identity by entering your previous account number. Click Confirm.

If you have lost access to your old bank account, you can click on "Verify your identity" instead.

Afterward, Stripe will ask for additional information to verify your identity. Click Agree and continue to proceed with the process.
