Gewurztraminer “Cuvee des Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre” Trimbach 2015
Trimbach is a legend in Alsace and probably needs no further description.
The grapes for this wine come from old vines on the Trimbach fields behind the house in Rineauville.
The Trottacker and Osterberg fields were previously owned by the Lord of Ribeaupierre, hence the name.
The wine is round, dense and fruity and goes well with foie gras, spicy/spicy/sour-sweet and cheeses.

Zind Humbrecht Sommerberg Riesling 2019
First vintage of the new single vineyard Grand Cru from ZH. Unopened original box.
Zind Humbrecht Brand Riesling Grand Cru 2019
Zind Humbrecht's best Riesling in top years.
Six bottles in unbroken original box.
Gustave Lorntz 2018
Gustave Lorentz's Riesling Réserve was also a deja vu, because I have tasted the wine before, but here it is from the latest vintage 2021.
Riesling Réserve is made from 100% Riesling from selected slopes around Bergheim and all grapes come from own fields and the wine is exclusively vinified in temperature-controlled steel tanks.
Pinot Gris “Reserve” Cave Vinicole Hunawihr 2021
Some small winegrowers from Hunawihr decided to create a "Cave Coopérative" (cooperative winery) so that they could secure their own wine harvest in the future instead of selling their harvest to the bigger houses.
Pinot Gris is clean and juicy with notes of ripe apples.
Josmeyer Kamikaze & Les Folastries 2021
Two classic bottles of Alsace wine, each in its own way.
Kamikaze: Macerated Pinot Gris from a single plot of old vines, grown biodynamically.
Not exactly mother-in-law's Alsace, but nevertheless something distinctively Alsatian. namely the long maceration of Pinot Gris, which gives the wine an almost pink color similar to rosé wine, even though it is technically an orange wine.
Complex, deep and not least beautiful wine, which should be enjoyed chilled.
No added sulphur, natural fermentation and generally low intervention.
Les Folastries: Gewürztraminer from 60-year-old canes grown biodynamically.
In many ways classic Gewürz from Alsace, but then there is just more punch to the beetroot and a little more life in the wine. Good acidity to balance the residual sweetness, which contributes fullness to the wine. The aroma is spicy with cardamom, coriander, a little ginger, honey and apricot, while the taste gives tropical fruits, honey, lime and then a salty finish.
Spontaneous fermentation and not so much intervention in the cellar, but has been given a little sulfur before bottling.
Domaine Zind Humbrecht Tokay Pinot Gris 1983
A Stand. Nice bottle. Wine cellar 12 degrees.
Tastes great now
Riesling “reserve” Cave Vinicole Hunawihr 2022
Some small winegrowers from Hunawihr decided to a "Cave Coopérative" (cooperative winery), so that they could secure their own wine harvest in the future instead of selling their harvest to the bigger houses.
Riesling is fresh and rank with clean notes of pear, lime.
